From this weeks project we have to choose 3 final photographs that we think are out best ones, these are the ones i have chosen.
1. This is the first photograph from my final 3, I chose this because I thought that I planned it well, I knew what shot I wanted to get and had to plan ahead to make sure iIcaptured it, this is a raw image and the colours that it produces makes me love it even more.
If I had to fault anything it would be that I would’ve of liked the West Pier to be more visible as it is quite dark and you can only see the top of it because the light that it showing through behind but apart from that this is my favourite photograph from the week.
2. This is the second photograph i have chosen from my 3. I chose this one because of the simplicity, it was taken at Stanmer Park. Im my opinion i think that the clouds are what make the photograph and bring out the true blue in the sky, I put my camera on the landscape setting and put my ISO to 100 and put the shutter speed to 1/2000, I chose not to put it on the full 1/4000 s because i wanted to capture i little bit of movement in the clouds i also used a tripod to take this. If i had to change anything within the photograph i would have something else in there to make it more interesting.
3. This is the final photograph i have chosen for my final 3. I love this photograph because i got the inspiration from last weeks project, i thought about the project being landscape and also thought about lights and watched to combine the two and so i came up with this. I used a long exposure time on of 20 seconds and set the ISO to 150. If i had to change anything about this i would chance the water splashing on the right side of the picture, because it was raining heavily at the time i was taking this there were puddles and as the cars were driving past it was creating splashes but other than that i think that the photograph turned out very well.
This weeks project was about landscapes, the task was to take a variety of different shots including night and day. I especially like this weeks project because it gives us a chance to get creative and do what we want within the criteria.
Here are some of the photographs i have taken:
From the overall project we had to pic one photograph that was our favourite this is the photograph that i chose:
I chose this image because i think that the clarity of the object being captured is amazing, I took this with the shutter speed set at 1/400 s and the aperture at auto, i think these were the perfect settings to capture the right details and quality.
In this project the task was to go out and shoot images of moving object and use the technique called panning, we had to shoot different images using various different shutter speeds to experiment. In my opinion 1/400 s was the best shutter speed for shooting cars and 1/200 s was the best for shooting skateboards and bikers.
Here are some of the photographs i took.
In this weeks enrichment the task was to go down to the Brighton Museum and get inspriration from the things have they on display, then to take out own pictures from what inspired us.
I thought that was museum was a good chance to see the history of brighton and to get a knowledgeable background and overview, I liked the photograph of the West Pier, i like it because it shows how things have changed over the years, i knew how it looked but i didn’t know it was as big as it was.
For my one image, it is a landscape image taken from the Brighton Pier, I chose to take it because of the colours from the sky and the general overview of the beach. I think this image represents Brighton well because of the beach being the main attraction.
For this task we had to take a self portrait of ourselves and photograph 5 things we like and dislike.
This is the photograph of my self portrait
These are the 5 things i like
